16 hours to Saudi (Gulf war 1) was my record. With a supper stop at Akrotiri. Many trips to Goose Bay, which was also a long haul.
I had a string hammock and I was the first off my seat to grab a space on the back ramp. Zzzzzz

10 hours! to gander, 2 of us pax only with an engine and a heck of a headwind, 4 hours back in a VC10 with a tailwind 2 of us pax only and the engine we had fitted outside in winter at below -15.C... trick is to do everything up loose so nothing snaps, start the engine and as it warms up rush round tightening all the clamps and hoses up..... ahhh happy days.
