Today members/Season pass holders were invited to come along to see the new Lorikeet Lookout area at Dudley Zoo. We were able to feed the beautiful birds nectar and see them up close. The children loved how pretty the Lorikeets are and how friendly they are also. There are currently 16 lorikeets flying free within the walk through area and the zoo will be watching to see how they get on before deciding to expand the group bringing more in.
The walkthrough exhibit is set to open in the former Monkey Tails building on Saturday 28th May, when visitors will be able to purchase pots of nectar to feed the colourful parrots.
