Raynox 250 on old Zenit Helios 44 lens

I haven't done any macro for a long time but I thought I'd dig out the Raynox and stick it on the front of this old lens to see how it went. On a Fuji XE-3.
Not the best technically but I'm very pleased considering.

I think that is a fabulous performance from an old lens with the Raynox added in.

Is it the original 44 or one of the -2's or M's?

Yes I was pleasantly surprised.

The first 2 are great, though I might try lifting shadows to see if there's any more detail in shadow areas. Unfortunately number 3 seems to have some camera shake/subject movement.

I played with lifting shadows on the first two, but these flies are very, very black. Any more on the slider looks unnatural. I'm sure you're right about number 3.
