Receding water

Not my normal type of shot but I liked the way the seawater from the violent waves were retreating down some steps. A huge amount of water detail in this image. Constructive C&C please!

I really like the effect.

However Is the image upside down? Alot of the "splash" seems to be "falling" rather than going up.
I had a look at it rotated 180 and really liked it.
