Red Panda at Whipsnade

I have been to Whipsnade at least 5 or 6 times before, and never managed to get anywhere near a decent view of a Red Panda, let alone a shot. As we are expecting to move down to the West Country in the next month or so, we thought we would get in one more visit to Whipsnade, mainly for the Cheetahs and Lynx.

Would you believe it, Mr Red (or it may be Mrs, I can't tell) came out for me today.... Really chuffed with this one.

FYI Mrs Panda has very little by the way of a tail.

Indeed, the sun just broke through for a few seconds and he happened to look up. Must of known it was the last chance I had and he felt sorry for me
