Nice change from the Little Egrets Stan ... good detailed shot

There was I expecting a red stained little egret and it was something much more interesting. It seems to have quite a hefty beak in comparison to the little, cattle and great whites.

It is bigger than a little egret, probably between that and the much larger great white egret and reasonably common in Florida

and plausibly very tame Stan,98mm wow you were close,good for you mate.!! Lovely image Stan. Buddy I'll probably never be able to get to these far off places,what were your impressions of light over there,more specifically how does if differ from here. I wish I asked that question to more folks Stan,it's not so much the amount of sunshine I'm talking about,but how you felt about using that light as a wildlife tog

I'd liked you to have been lower Stan ,but I'd lay a bet that was impossible,thanks for sharing it's always cool seeing these birds from far away
