Sadly when the light came the wind came and when the wind went the light went. Frustrating morning but what a place. One to go back to next year.

Wonderful wilderness scenery, and great images. (I imagine it must have been tricky getting to the spots they were taken from- well worth it though:))

Not hugely actually. I don't like massive long walks and both these are drive and arrive spots with minimal distance from the car. That might be seen as as downside by some, but an upside as far as I am concerned.

Steve, ok i`m not as professional as you (some may laugh) but I see the 1st shot a bit dull and I see the grey clouds didnt helps but congrats you got your reflection in there.
The 2nd is much better imo, theres a hint of blue and some sunny spots up there and it has brightened the whole shot overall.
So No2 gets my vote of the 2.

It is dull but I’ll be back. Still a pretty impressive place and that all important reflections

Thes second has got so much more depth to it with the light hitting it, but with light on it too I actually think I would prefer the first.

Agree -Durrensee is nice but Pragser Wildsee is probably the most spectacular lake I have seen. I know I will be back to get the sunlight. If you go skipping Durrensee is fine, but not Pragser Wildsee. You won't see it at this res but there's an ugly pylon, bit of road in the distance etc. It's not as a nice a place to spend time.

No 1 needs some light but is a cracking reflection. 2 is really nice, composition and light.

The second is wonderful Steve. The reflection has a lovely depth to it created by the beautiful light on the backdrop.
