    I guess the male ducks always look more groomed, and more colourful :). Females look a bit less interesting

    Reptilians and birds (very closely related) do have
    this common traits. These are pre teens and do not
    have a sexual role to play yet so they look pretty
    much the same. There are, however, distinctions that
    permit to identify young birds gender.
