Resizing Photos For 5x7 Prints

Hello,

I have some photos that are Tiff 2080x1560 (72ppi) and I would like to have 5x7 prints printed.
Would I lose any quality by resizing them to 2100x1575 then cropping them back down to 2100x1500?

For the extra 20 pixels, I wouldn't bother with upscaling, just crop to the required ratio. However, if your printer insists on 300ppi, you might need to do the upscale.
