Rhingia campestris

Bryn #1 really grabbed my attention and interest Thanks for sharing and turning my wheels.(y)

Great shots, I always think of those weird plague masks when I see one

They do indeed look like that wonder if thats where the doctors got the idea ??? wonder if the fly has scents in there too :D

Nice set Bryn, first three are particularly pleasing.(y)

George.

Nice set Bryn I like the first and last shots the most .

You obviously do not hang around in the right spots.

Cheers Alf

No1 is great, maybe crop a little dead space out and sharpen. Great detail though.

already cropped and sharpened ... any more sharpening will cause artifacts and there is plenty of detail... the closest point of eye is oof its the mouth parts which is the focus for me and that is both high in detail.

Thanks for your comment.

I had to take a look because I didn't understand the title!!

Glad I did, excellent (y)

Great detail in No 1 but like its been said, last shot gets it for composition.
Great set Bryn (y)

Very cool amazing, how you guys get sooooo darn close to these litlle critters.
Am with the crowd though the more enviromental image looks best.
