South-East England Richmond/Bushey parks

Thankfully I am only 20 mins by foot. Sheen Gate is my closest entry point

Unfortunately, I went just before the lockdown and was amazed on how busy it was at 0900 on a Saturday morning. Was lucky to get a parking space by Kingston Gate, normally at that time I have no problems.

Once restrictions have eased I'll be spending my evenings in there. To look for the owls and peregrines for a start....

parkrun runners congregate at the Richmond Hill gate - when we go Nordic Walking we hardly see them.. Nordic Walking is also on hold - even though it is easy for the walkers to socially distance (I am the expert on this).

Went for a walk on Monday. Being local I can walk there, and grateful that cars and cycles are not allowed. But you do get idiots cyclists who ignore the signs.

Isabella Plantation is closed at the moment. But the area was pleasant.
