Spent the day trying to find some decent birds around the Peaks in Derbyshire, well we tried for the first time Padley Gorge but didn't see anything of note (no Pied Catchers or anything really) but did see a couple of Mandarin Ducks in a tree, then tried Cut Throat bridge again nothing showed (just Red Grouse, Meadow Pipit and Stone Chat) but it was rather busy with walkers and mountain bikers.
Finally tried a spot across the boarder in Cheshire and I hit the jackpot the first bird I saw was a Male Ring Ouzel with a fly over Merlin and a few Wheatear, so a great way to end the day out.
