A rally team I serviced for had an ex R Brooks steering wheel fitted, watched him and M Broad in the woods many times.
RIP Russell.

Very sad, I did a group shot at the Colin McRae forest stages, hard to believe it was 2008. He was actually quite funny and quick with the one liners. A very nice guy!

I loved rallying in that era, and granted it wasn't as fast as nowadays, but it was more interesting in my opinion. I'm not normally someone who is sentimental about old vehicles, but if I won the lottery I'd have a Mk2 RS1800, well if I could find one.
