Rising above the rocks

I'm not sure if this photo works or not. I had seen a similar shot on you tube and was trying to capture the detail in the foreground without the image being blown out by the sun peering over the rock.

yes i agree...your objective is ok...better when the sky is a bit more full of cloud etc...take more than one and move slightly each time till you get the suns prescence just obscured but the sparkly bit still in shot...its only cm really...softly softly or as they say in africa ...pole pole
