A recent HeadShot session with an Actress I shot in London on the Southbank.

No reflector was used here, which I normally would use. But her eyes were big and sparkly.

The light is always good here, not too bright, no direct light, and its consistent even on a really really dull day.

Settings is 50mm at 2.2 - i love 2.2 for portraits.

A nice natural pose there, with great even lighting fine shot Lee.

Looking good Lee

Lovely natural looking portrait. Great pose, I personally like how she seems to be looking up to the camera slightly.

Lovely.

You clearly know vastly more about this kind of shot than me but I think I would have got a little lower. It looks as though you are shooting from slightly above her. Any reason?
Thanks mate. The subject needed a couple of shots that shows her a little more vulnerable for a role she was going for (actor)

its a bit soft but a good persona

Looks great to me.I'm no expert but thought camere to be slightly above eye level was to make the eyes more dominant in the frame.Course they see the light more too.
