These two were shot with a Nikon 200-500mm that I recently purchased on this forum. Just need more time to get out with it.

Both delicious… though I think the conversion was

Yes, I know where you're coming from regarding the conversion decision Kodiak. I decided to convert it as I was looking at the whole image, ie, the tree and background sharing almost half of the image each, but it seemed to lose it in colour. Also, the colours didn't seem to stand out as much due to the distance of the bird in the image, hence I went for the mono. Appreciate your feedback as always though Kodiak
