RSPB Rainham Marshes - ID request

Had a lovely child free wander round this reserve today, even managed a couple of (very far away) shots of the small brown birds I usually only hear in the reeds.

Problem is even after consulting the RSPB "identify a bird guide" I still can't work out what they are

Looks like a Whitethroat to me

I’ve always had difficulty separating these 2 birds but my feeling is whitethroat too, which makes mine in another thread whitethroat as well.

I should have paid more attention to the eye. Yes it is a Whitethroat,sorry for the mis-information.
