SAD DAY in the Football World

As a Leicester lad born & bred I am not a fan of foreign ownership of our football clubs but I make an exception for this man. No one has a bad word for him and he is much loved in Leicester/Leicestershire.

This is a great loss to the football club and the city of Leicester.

R.I.P.

Best wishes and a speedy recovery to Glen Hoddle, another of footballs gentlemen.

Apparently there was a copper who ran towards the crash and tried to smash the windows with his truncheon and drag the occupants out

By all accounts he was beaten back by the explosion and has suffered injuries

This is very good

Well done to Leicester city, staff and players for the way they have handled this most difficult of weeks. Casper Schmeichel has been immense, finding the right words and conveying the love and respect they had for ‘the boss’

Also many thanks to Cardiff for the way they welcomed our club to Wales.

Life goes on, but I’m sorry to say I think LCFC are going to find the next few months very difficult.
