Sara in the Sea - Which do you prefer and why?

Number two looks better to me, but I am viewing it on my iPad which is not calibrated, if the outfit she is wearing is white you could check it in your photo application to see if it is being rendered as white, using the colour picker tool, if it has one, and most do.

Second one for me too, skin tones look better, though the sea looks a little turquise...

Both are very good. I think she looks more interesting in the first, especially the tonal details of her hair, but then I like the water in the second shot.

Two for me.

In #1 her white dress has a blue hue to it and her skin tone looks wrong.

in #2 her dress looks white and her skin tone much better

(PS My monitor is calibrated)

Prefer second, but only because her face is more prominent. I hate the processing though... that whole "teal and orange" thing has been done to death over the past 10 years, especially in film.

Personally I wouldn't do the edit the way you did it. I would fiddle only with reds/yellows to correct the skin. The second one looks way too burned in the top for my likings.

I would layer them in PS and mask through to use the darker sea from #1 and the lighter Sara from #2

number 2.
already been said, the skin tines in number 1 are just way off.
