Agree, however i have 10+ of these images with the jar placed in various areas of the background & found imo the most impressive is this one, although 1st appearance seems jar is floating but the background through the jar is the most detailed in this position.

It's different and original and I like that. If there was soil at the bottom around the jar I think it would work even better. Still a clever idea though

Clever idea, does look to be floating slightly to me, but very nice image

I've had a move around with the jar but not sure where's best.

Very nice! Try putting the jar closer to the tree and crop out the telephone/utility pole and the extraneous trees on the left side.
