A few photos of the Scillonian III which travels from Penzance to the beautiful Isles of Scilly - if you have been on it you will know that its flat bottomed in order that it can sail into the shallow harbour at St Mary's........ not good on a rough day....
Taken from the harbour in Mousehole on my A7R3 in Super 35 APS-C mode with the Tamron 28-200.
For me its a special boat/ship(?) which brings back childhood memories of watching it return to port after a long day in the sun - it was always sunny when you were a child wasn't it ?
Been on it twice - I won't go into details what happened on the rough crossing but lets just say the crew cleaned the boat down with a large hosepipe....
