weekly Seaodysseys 52 for the New Decade Wk51 and 52 Showcase and Decorations

Ability
A good close up shot, nice colours, good sharpness and dof.

Again it looks a bit better on Flickr. I have no filters to slow down the exposure and I had no tripod either.

Pete, I like shot number 2. I think I would darken it down a bit, especially top left.

Really like shot 2. There's about the right amount of movement in the water for me.

I have had a go at editing the second Image.
It was a struggle, I had upgraded my work desktop last week to Windows 10, so had a load of software to install and settings to sort out.
I tried using on1 PhotoRaw2020 but the quick masking tool did not want to work. I have now install adobe dng converter and used that in PSCS6 and this is the result, best I could do given that I did not have any filters to reduce the exposure and it was handhold.

No 2 for me too, and it looks better in the later versions.

Both good images Pete, but I do like the close up of the buds

Nice close up, good DOF and sharpness where it matters.

MK famous for concrete cows, roundabouts and "banks" of Daffs. :D

Nice PoV and colourful Pete.

Hi Chris, Yes, they are everywhere, but nice and colourful.

Great colours on this - the yellow really pops against the blue sky.
Thanks Shugpug, the sun was shinning nicely.

Ability no 2 for me nicely done without filters

Winter - Lovely image great PoV

Thanks Mark
Very pristine daffs... always so cheering.

Thanks Helen, you are right, but a bit early for Mothers Day this year.

Nice colourful daffs and good to see some background too.

Thanks for your comments Mark

I like the low pov on the Daffs (y)

Broken - I too like the abstractness of the second, but I quite like the first too
Ability - both good shots the second just pips it to the post for me.
Winter - I like the low Pov very vibrant

Excellent high key shot Pete, good interpretation of the book.

Yep I'd sat high key too, white background minimal shadows / darks
Good idea for a book too (y)

I had technical Issues with a new Firewall at work :)
Thank you for sorting, I'm surprised the post was not on several times to be honest.
Pete
Works for High Key for me :)
I'd googled and found "the hidden life of trees", Wind in the Willow's did not even cross my mind ;)

Thanks Tim
Bang on theme and technique too. It really works.
