Whilst down at the lighthouse we had a visitor, they hung around and dangled a man out for a bit. I think they were trying to land him on the lighthouse rock, tho he may have drawn the short straw as it looked like they were trying to play conkers with him and the rock!






(From a CC persepective, I think a slower shutterspeed to show some blur on the rotors would have been better).

The perspective makes the seagull looks massive compared with the helicopter for scale in the first image.
The second image seems to have some ghosting by the prop blades which looks quite cool.

I like the detail in the second one, but I know what you are meaning about shutter speed. Freezing the rotor blades makes it look a bit unnatural, but might be the only way to get it truly sharp as they move about quite a bit even when hovering.
