Yes
This is our cat.

Having not used my speedlight in a long while I needed to have apractice. As I wanted to take some photos at the weekend.

Abbey was in at the time so she became the model.

Any feedback is welcomed.

Abbey the tabby! (Ish).
Looks like she's got real attitude.

Yep she has her moments :)
Stunning model. She's beautiful, but she's definitely got her 'you'd better be paying me in cat treats for this or there's going to be big trouble' face on.
Agreed ! I liked her look in this one. She sure does like her treats !
Thanks for stopping by.

FTFY!

I like the lighting on her - simple but effective.

Really nice lighting, I'd never get our cat to stay still long enough

Sounds like a description of myself :)

Thanks Chris.
Tbh I never thought I would be able too but she seems to hang around if I feed her enough treats.

My only thought would be to “extend” the couch across the frame.

Interesting, I really like the edge and it gives it a sense of action in that the cat seems to be distracted from being about to pounce of the edge

Nice shot Gary- and the chair and BG really suit the shot :)

Hi Clint.
Yep that could be done quite easily I would have thought.
That said I have taken a few dog portraits using this box and in those the box does go from one side of the frame to the other.
So this is a bit of a change for me. Plus I actually made this box which I must say I am still quite amazed at !!!!

Lots of staples used :)

It's good to know that the image makes the viewer feel something.
