These were captured in our garden a couple of days ago with a pair of Marumi 330 close-up lenses (one reversed) on a 12 megapixel Panasonic FZ330 small sensor bridge camera. They were captured hand-held using autofocus at 1/1000 sec and the equivalent of f/45 on full frame in terms of depth of field and loss of detail from diffraction, with a Venus Optics KX800 twin flash with home-made multi-layer diffusion on each flash head and a large concave diffuser in front of the flash heads.

The raw files were batch processed in DXO PhotoLab, Silkypix and Lightroom, with image-specific adjustments in Lightroom.

These are fabulous and pleasure to view, the detail is outstanding.........nice.
