Finally managed to get to Shelsley after living only 20min away for about a decade. I can't remember ever doing motorsports and frankly my panning skills are cack, but they got better as the day (and the rain dragged on). Lots of misses, but I got to try my X-T1 + 55-200 and E-M1i + 40-150 f/2.8 out (E-M1 won) and found it really interesting.

Most importantly, I finally got to see a Metro 6R4 in action, about 25 years too late.

Been to the wedding breakfast a couple of times there, but never a meeting... Must make the effort to get there sometime this year.

I don’t know about accreditation, but you can stand next to the track and the pits are completely open.
