Sorry I wasn't clear I meant near to London - not near by Helicopter.
However I am going to Chorley for 4 days in May, would that be too late for the Dee estuary?

Yep they will be gone by the end of March , vis mig in full swing already first sand Martin back in n.wales today

What about October I might be back there then?
Towards the end of the month maybe ,but they are usually a long way out early on ,close encounters at this time of the year usually

If it is within your travel distance the Golf Course at Sandwich is giving good views...

Not too sure about SEO but Chapel I think is said to be raptor central
Yes Capel Fleet can be good but, apart from some exceptional instances views tend to be more distant... Capel is always worth a visit if you are on the Isle though as you can get good views of Marsh Harriers.

Thanks for that. I will have to look at this.

So February half term next year would be prime or maybe Christmas?
yep either .
