Last night I couldn't sleep. So I decided (about an hour before sunrise) to go and get some sunrise shots at the top of a local hill, where I knew I would get the bright sky behind the bright city lights... I only ended up with a small handful of keepers (because I'm an idiot and fritzed up the settings on a bunch of them...), but here are my two favourites. I re-shot the frame with the aircraft's landing light-trail in it, but ended up preferring the original!
