I've got a few thousand slides to scan in and been looking at the Reflecta DIGITDIA 5000 scanner, for ease of use.

Does anyone have this scanner?

If so how is it for batch scanning?

Does anyone recommend any other type of scanner?

Know any where i can rent one for a month before i buy it?

Are they 35mm or 120 slides? Mounted or not?

I've got a V500 which I think is very nice for scanning slides on, but sorry couldn't help you on your scanner

Have you tried a little Google see if anything comes up on there about it?

Looks like it only does mounted 35mm slides

Never heard of it, but that doesn't mean anything, looks good as a batch scanner, the res 3000dpi is decent, and it ain't cheap.
Its not run of the mill, peeps who use one might be a bit thin on the ground:shrug:
I think you'll have more luck with user experiences with the Coolscans.

I dont know if their still in stock but both Aldi and Netto, were doing a digital slide copyer that connects direct to your pc, via usb.It was a little over £40 and looks like the old pyramid style viewer. As to quality sorry cant help.
