Critique Small Bee looking for a nice bed

This small Bee (I think) is one of the Bees that burrow into the ground to lay eggs and they emerge the following year.
So at a guess this one had spent lots of energy digging its way out and was looking to rest on this Buttercup flower, 2nd photo shows how I found it some hours later.

exactly what I thought.... glad you didn't bother it after settling

#1 is a little bright in the background try reducing highlights on the flower.

the yellow flower in the 1st is a little bright. The little chap certainly looks settled in for a good rest
