    Thanks Alf:) I am the luck one as the Brown Chafer visit us in our garden in June/July in the last 3 years. They are quite cute with those antennae.

    Nice finds Icy - the mayfly looks like it has broken it's back, but I'm sure that is the natural shape!

    Thanks Paul:) I was surprised to find this mayfly as it is not a common species in our area and it is the first time I see this.

    Good finds Icy. What strange eyes the mayfly has. Are all mayflies like that, upward looking?

    Thanks Nick:) Not all the mayfly species have the upward looking eyes but normally the male has them.
