Sorry about the title, it was flying about like crazy. Settled for a few seconds here......

I thought it was feeding, happy to be more informed as I've put this in to my next CC projected image comp with the same title .......... oops

Since butterflies can only take liquid food and that appears to be a healthy undamaged leaf and no droplets of water visible, I guess it is just resting or warming up in the sunshine or similar.
