Critique Snowdrops

I do like snowdrops, we have them in our back garden.

There are too many of them, though, in this one. A few are cropped of at the edges.

Getting closer would have been better IMO.

I prefer the second shots you've uploaded. I think with your first two there is no obvious point of focus and the depth of field isn't sufficient to get them all sharp.

Getting in really close and isolating some flowers would perhaps produce a more arresting picture?
 
I had thought the same about the first set. Fair point on isolating some flowers but getting a "clean" background is challenging. I had wondered about trying some artificial light to pick out a flower or two.
 
Second set are better IMO, but still quite busy. The path ? is a distraction add is the people flower top right of #2, it's the small things that can reduce the impact of photographs and I'd get even closer. Better light would improve them and give a warm feel. Some off camera flash could be used to darken the background and make the flowers pop a little.
