Snowy Red Squirrels

HI All

Managed to have a nice first outing of 2015 last weekend and came back with some shots of Red Squirrels in the Snow. Light wasn't the best and i have struggled with a couple in processing with regards to colour temperature.
Anyway, here is what i cam back with. Comments welcome and appreciated

Focus slightly off, more on the shoulder than eye and hadn't realised i had dropped to f/4.5

Lovely set, I also like #2, I don't have a problem with the background ... what did you do in #1 to make him poke his tongue out at you?

I wasn't sure about it, it's a plastic tree protector for saplings.

It's a peanut that's looks like a tongue haha.
