Having finally got rid of my backlog, and not having gone out with a camera recently, I have been dipping into my archive and reprocessing some images. One reason for doing this is so I have some images which have been processed using my latest workflow against which to compare images from the new setup I am intending to use when the invertebrates return in numbers (or at least I hope they do) in the Spring.

Images #1 #7 were captured at three local nature reserves, and #8 in our garden. All were captured with a (probably) Raynox 150 close-up lens on a small (1/2.3") sensor Panasonic bridge camera (FZ200 for #1 to #3, FZ330 for the others). All were captured hand-held using flash. I don't know which of my flash setups I used.

Images #1 to #3 were captured in May 2015. #4 to #7 were captured in August 2017, and #8 in May 2018.

The images have been reprocessed from raw using DXO PhotoLab 4, Adobe Lightroom and Topaz DeNoise AI.

There are 1300 pixel high versions on these images in this album at Flickr.

Stunning as always Nick.
I can't even pick a favourite this time (y)

Some superb shots. I find the texture on Dock bugs actually strains my eyes when I try to process images of them. The grasshopper nymph is a beauty, a great image. The fly with prey is another outstanding image for me.
