After a few years break from any photography I decided to have another go at some macro.
My last setup was too heavy and awkward so picked up a 270ex flash yesterday and mounted it on top of my 100mm macro lens. Still playing around with diffusers, but these were my first shots this morning.
Typically it's raining here so I hid in the log shed as best I could to give it a try!
All taken with Canon 40D, 100mm macro, 21mm ext. tube and 270ex mounted on lens. No editing or cropping, just resized and sharpened a little
