Nice set Mike, love the jumping spider.
Lighting looks a little harsh or is it my monitor.
Jumping spider could do with a crop and the other spider is a little too tight top and bottom.
Other than that, nice to see someone getting out there and posting shots.
PS, What is your lighting set-up please?

Thanks Graham, the lighting is a little on the harsh side, I am still playing with diffusers (currently a milk bottle type.)
I am using a Nikon D90, so not much MP for cropping. The JS is a crop already.

Great set of Critters and agree with Graham and yourself that lighting is a little on the harsh side, lighting is all fun and games and ironically what works for 1 subject doesn't work for all

Excellent collection of images Mike. Nice jumping spider, l had one in my sights today but l just couldn't get the camera low enough.
