I usually use a micro four thirds camera for flowers but I just processed some images from last May where I used an FZ200 small sensor bridge camera with a Canon 500D close-up lens. I don't recall why I used the FZ200 rather than a Panasonic G80 and Olympus 60mm macro, or indeed rather than my more up to date FZ330 bridge camera. I suppose it was an experiment of some sort that I then forgot about.

Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised how the session turned out. Here are some of the images, taken from this album at Flickr. They were captured in our back garden, hand-held, as raw. They were batch processed in DXO PhotoLab then Lightroom, with image-specific adjustments in Lightroom.

Identifications provided by my wife.
