They are not bad but the mono conversions lack something.
How are you converting your mono shots?
 
yes i have adobe creative suite

Well I suggest a conversion in LR then moving to PS to refine the image and make local adjustmets to contrast.
 
in Lightroom, also trying Silver Efex with varying success.

i use both but find silverefex the most flexible...it tend to use nearly all the controls to see what i can get out of a colour shot...usually the filters carry the bulk of my conversion with structure next...occasionally i get what i want with the film selection
then i use where effective some burning and dodging...but not in the colour original

Some nice compositional work here but issues
like DR, WB, and haloing should be addressed.
