Critique Some Iceland pics...

Hi all, recently went on a trip to Iceland, been wanting to go since I was about 8, and between torrential downpours took these which I'd love your opinion on - criticism good as I really want to improve

I dig the first but the DOF would have benefit
a ƒ11 selection.

I love the last though I would have liked to see
the whole structure in the frame. An horizontal
tweak and tonal taming would do wonders I think.

Thank you, I see your points on both. The first was my favourite spot of the trip, despite the rain, and we were unfortunately being rushed by the tour guide Shame as I think there was some leeway with shutter speed and aperture

I really like the first but it also makes me wish you'd fit more of the top in if you could have to see what was up there.

Thank you, pretty sure I actually cropped the image to get rid of the featureless sky as I just wanted to see the deep greens and dark volcanic greys of the valley, I'll dig out the original and reassess

Nope! If it's a featureless sky then it's better the way it is lol. The way the crop image is, makes you feel like there's loads of mountain about which is why I said it initially but it's great the way it is!
