These were shot at ISO 800 by mistake so many were not as good as I wanted. Here are some I have just processed.

The first are waps feeing on hogweed, there were a lot of them

What do you think?

I think they are fine the ISO doesn't seem to have caused any problems. I think most cameras can cope with ISO 100.
Is it me or is there some pollen in the air for the second one

Thanks Dave these are not affected much but some of the others were not usable and if they were taken at ISO 200 they may have been usable.

I reckon that will be pollen in the air wasps are boisterous powerfull insects

They look good Alf. Nice set.

ISO 800 looks fine for these. What made the others unusable? Noise? Lack of detail? I wouldn't have thought ISO 800 was the problem. I routinely use ISO 800 with micro four thirds and APS-C. I might have to apply a bit of noise reduction but, at ISO 800, that doesn't kill the detail.

Thanks Nick
Loss of of detail and noise together combined with poor exposure and all of that on some together

NIce set, little Green bug does it for me Alf
