I shoot very little digital photography these days, generally only wildlife in fact and that rarely, but we had a week in Dumfries and Galloway at the end of July and there was an abundance of interesting wildlife so out came the Fuji X-T1 and the 100-400mm lens.

A long way away and a fairly big crop but recognisably an Osprey.

Nearly brilliant... On the rear screen this looked like a winner however it turned out to be an almost good shot.

A Metallic Beetle and a Hoverfly.... Anyone know what kind of beetle?

And last but not least..... I think he knew that I was too close to get him all in shot.

Fine set Andy and you're forgiven for switching to this gear for specialised stuff such as this. :sneaky: You've done a lot better than I did with my local red kites with the 55-200 on my XT-1 and some very scared kites, but these might tempt me to have another go.

Very nice set Andy, we just love Scotland so much to see in any area of photography
