Today is the first day of our holiday at Sharpham Tea Rooms on the levels, these are more record shots really as been an awful day for weather so when we had a clearing in torrential rain we decided to have a walk around Ham Wall after our dinner, hopefully will get a break this week but forecast doesn't look good :(

All taken at ISO 3200 on Nikon D7200

Well done for getting out, it gets a bit windy down there so with rain as well as limited cover you have my admiration!
Like the Egret and 1st Heron shot but maybe reduce the yellows a little as it does appear a bit yellowy bright :)

Thanks for the feedback Gramps its appreciated, ive edited the WB and re-uploaded how are these below, as for weather yes not good today so when it cleared after dinner tonight we got out for a quick walk just to clear the cobwebs didn't expect to see anything but managed to see 2 woodpeckers, 2 marsh harriers, quite a few herons and the Great White Egret so please with sightings just not great for photos

Well done Adam ....... but I always find that the Nikon DX sensor is just noisy over ISO 800

Hi,

If your still in the area, you could try Noah's hide at Shapwick heath, There has been an Osprey present for several days on the lake.

Nice photo's.
