Burgh Island isn't far away - might even get a sunset over the causeway depending on tides (my tablet with TPE is waiting for charge so can't check the angle of dangle of the set itself compared to Bantham/Burgh Island.)

The coast around there is all very nice. Thurlestone/South Milton is good at low-ish tide. Start point lighthouse is a classic. I work at Slapton and find it fairly uninspiring, probably because I work there... always worth a trip up to dartmoor if you get chance. Some lovely woods along the Dart at Dartmeet and Dart Bridge. Hay Tor. It’s a lovely part of the world and you won’t have to look too far.
