great event as always.
this was a big test for me, as it was my first job with a whole new set up.
Canon 7D, 24-105L f4, sigma 10-20mm f3.5 and sigma 120-300 f2.8 all gone.
Replaced with Nikon D600, D7100, sigma 14-24, sigma f1.4 35mm and sigma 120-300mm f2.8 sport.
Started off with the parade, where i found it difficult to get used to the new gear.
The three biggest problems were:
1) Having customers say 'quick get a shot of us all with the car' and not having a mid range zoom anymore or any idea where the buttons are on the cameras.
2) One of the SD cards was way too slow, and I missed shots whilst the buffer was full.
3) The sigma 14-24 is a horrible lens with huge amounts of distortion. Customers do not like it when you make them look fat!
Anyway, I learned as I went along, and it was enjoyable to be out of my comfort zone. Which was part of the idea anyway.
1) Town Parade
2) Nissan GTR
3) Raidillon
4) 458 Detail
5) Philipp Eng
6) Stefan Mücke's take on the Vettel finger
