So I was lucky enough to make a trip over to Spa Francorchamps for the Summer Classic, a meeting I attended last year, and thoroughly enjoyed.
With the inaugural 3h race into the evening, it was set for some interesting conditions to shoot in as well, which makes a change from grey skies and midday shooting.

1) First shot off the camera, and a personal favourite car for me.

2) I made a shot here last year, but wanted to drop the shutter a little more, it's an intensely difficult shot to get right.

3) Another quite tricky one to shoot, 1/13 coming up Eau Rouge.

4) So, yeah, I'm in love with GT40s in gulf livery.....

5) ....and quite partial to a Martini liveried Porsche

6) Racing at sundown, quite a rare treat for me

7) I did peel myself away from trackside at certain moments over the weekend

8) Lastly, a bit of my trademark psychedelic nonsense that always goes down like a lead balloon

Thanks for looking

Clearly, my pick is #7, almost abstract!

Lovely set - really need to get more creative with my shots. Shame drag racers tend to go straight

Am liking the Porker shots #5 & 6 and the use of the light in #7. Good efforts with Eau Rouge in #2 & 3, now on my bucket list along with a trip to the 'green hell' !

Thanks very much Kodiak, its a good job I kept my eyes open between races to spot this one!

Fantastic set mate :)

Thanks very much dude, appreciated!!

Awesome mate, although you included the wrong Eau Rouge shot ;)

I included 'AN' eau rouge shot, is that not enough for you!?!?

Wow, the Martini 911 is a standout shot.

Thanks very much - i'm just drawn to that livery. It just works so so well!!

No. 6 is lovely, great shot.

Thanks very much Adrian, its a refreshing change to shoot into the evening, something that rarely happens in UK racing.

Thanks very much, it's all about the corners. ALL about the corners haha. I realised I posted a pretty marmitey selection of slow pans, I'll chuck a few more 'regular' shots below.

Cheers Paul, Appreciate the feedback, Spa is a great track to shoot, and throws up some good opportunity for shots. You can combine a trip to here and the ring pretty easily. I'd bet that you'd probably enjoy it.
Thanks for your comments!!
