Sparrowhawk and Starling kill

Can you please send it my way to get rid of the starlings.
They devour my feeder station stopping small birds from feeding.
Oh and btw a cracking capture

Lovely capture the stare is kind of scary

Nature can be so crule , Not a nice way to go being eaten alive  :$

However its all part of the food chain

Good images

Hard to look at tbh but it’s a very good capture and good detail too. I’d have thought the starling would have died of heart atack ..I was told that’s what happens with most kills. Having said that I can never get out of my mind tv footage of a few lions bringing down a zebra and ripping it’s flanks with the zebra looking back at the lions.

Last week I was saddened to watch a SH go into next door’s large plum tee and kill one of the two blackbirds nesting there. It tried to flee but to no avail. It’s mate is still there.

Nature can be savage, it's just the way though. I struggle to watch something being taken down, I try not to now.

This set is well captured though and what a bird, looks to be in its prime.

Cracking photos. Had a sparrowhawk kill a young blackbird last year in our garden. The parent blackbirds were letting out some shrieks but the sparrowhawk just ignored both parents and began to pluck the dead young blackbird. It eventually flew off with its kill. Nature I suppose, did feel for the parents though...

Really good shots and nature can be cruel, but they all have to eat to survive.
