If you can use a longer focal length, it will have the effect of compressing the field, so you'll get more of the flowers and less of the space.

Also, get down low and shoot across the field so your getting more of the flowers in the frame and less of the green stalks.

Awesome, I will try that. I am still learning how different things affect shots, I hadn't even considered a longer focal length.

Not Rapeseed, but an illustrative example I did when studying - just an additional 100mm reach on the focal length can have a huge effect.
