Beginner Spider (id?)

I seem to be getting the hang of this macro lark a bit now - more hits than misses

I found this monster lurking outside the back door. It's one of those you find scuttling across stones/soil in the sun, can anyone put a name to it please (and by name, I don't mean 'Brian'!)?

If you get more hits than misses I think you are doing very well. Like I think many others I have a high failure rate, so if you do run in to that problem don't get discouraged, it's just the way it tends to be with macro.

Thanks - to be honest it might not be more hits than misses, but definitely less misses than before. I feel less like I'm winging it and getting lucky
