Spring Calling..

Like the second shot a lot the first is a bit too small in the frame for me.
 
It's still better than my picture of curlew that saw and heard at Wycoller the other week. Really like the shot of the Grebe though.
 
I heard it before I eventually saw, a very lonesome call, it was in the fields with some wood pigeons on the walk from the car park to the village. I didn't know they came inland..
 
Two good shots for me, I like the isolation and context in the Curlew image ... works for me :)
